American Girl Boutique and Bistro: Birthday Party

I wanted to share this idea with everyone since a lot of my clients have daughters who would LOVE this place!!  My sister and her family were down from Nashville a few weeks ago and while they were here we celebrated my niece's birthday.    There is a relatively new store up at North Point Mall called the American Girl Boutique and Bistro.  You can make reservations for a birthday party at the bistro.  The kids can bring their dolls and they have these really cute little chairs just for the dolls to sit at the table with you,  it is really adorable.  My niece LOVED it and the food was really good, I was quite impressed!  They even give the birthday girls a little present to take home!  If you are looking for something different I would definitely recommend trying this place out.  Here is a picture of us girls before our lunch (I swiped this off my sister's mommy blog -  she is hilarious you should check it out) ......

Family Photo Session: The last shoot

I LOVE taking pictures of this beautiful family!!  They always look so cute and like they belong in a Ralph Lauren advertisement or something.  I'm so sad though because they are moving away and I won't get to watch their little one grow up anymore!! This was our last session together before they left town. :( Sniff, sniff!!    Send pictures guys you will be missed greatly!!  Good luck on your new adventures!

Flowers AND Tree Faces!

I had an awesome day yesterday and I wanted to share some photos of the silly little things that made it so awesome!  First off,  my husband came home with these gigantic sunflowers for me that made me smile so big it hurt!  He is the sweetest for sure......

THEN, my favorite UPS guy delivered my tree faces!!!  (He's my favorite because he always says "You have a blessed day!"  in a really deep voice,  he's awesome.)  Anyway, he delivered my tree faces, which CRACK ME UP!!  I cannot go outside on our deck now without bursting into laughter.  These are so great and I highly recommend getting some for your own yard.   The first one is Danny's favorite,  his name is Whistlin' Pete and we got him from Genuine Tree People.  The other one is really funny too and we got him from Plow and Hearth.

Both are great, but I have to say I am a bit partial to Whistlin' Pete because he was handmade here in the US and shipped using recycled and reused products, and he has a really great name. :) Anyway,  here they are hanging out in our yard watching over things...........

Engagement Photos: Love, sweet LOVE!!

Well, this engagement photo session was rudely interrupted by Ms. Mother Nature last evening.   We were only able to get about 30 minutes of shooting  in before we decided we had better call it quits.  My camera was getting wet and so was this sweet couple!!  So we will have to get together on another day to finish up. 

This wonderful and OH so FUN couple is tying the knot at the end of August and they could not be any cuter!!  We had a great time while it lasted, and I was very impressed with their determination to get as many shots as we could before the bottom fell out.  They were troopers for sure and I can tell that the romance department is not lacking with these two!  Whoo hoo!! ;)   You guys are the greatest!  I can't wait to share your special day with you!!

 There is only one word to describe this kind of love......

Photo of the Week

Hey look,  I've done it again!  I think about three or four weeks have passed since I did the last Photo of the Week,  maybe I should change it to Photo of the Month?!  :)  This is a photo taken from our friends land up in Helen, GA.  They are starting their own vineyard at the base of Mount Yonah.  It is absolutely beautiful up there and we are so thankful they let us visit so often.  I took a bunch of pics but this one was one of my favorites  (looks WAY better in a larger format though).....

Well folks,  I now have a very LARGE arsenal of completely customizable cards to use for announcements, save the dates, invitations etc.  The possibilities are endless and there are entirely too many to show you them all here.  I will be posting more on my site later, but please don't hesitate to ask me to see examples if you are interested!  I LOVE these and am more than happy to show you what your images would look like in a few of these babies!! Triplets!!!

I have known Heather since the 6th grade,  we were fast friends and I love that we still continue to be buddies to this day.  She married a wonderful man and they recently had three,  count 'em three beautiful babies!  Two boys and a girl,  how cute is that!?!   I must say I couldn't wait to do a session with these guys.  The munchkins were so sweet and I am so excited to watch these sweet peas grow up!!  What a fabulous family you guys have,  love you!!!

Fourth of July Weekend

Well we just had the BEST weekend!!  Wanted to quickly post some photos from our weekend in the mountains.  We spent the our fourth relaxing, cracking up, eating, four wheeling, hiking, roasting marshmallows and hotdogs and playing cards and trivia.  Does it get any better than that?!  Well, yes it did, because I also made some great new friends (Gia and Tony - you guys ROCK)!!  It was so much fun and I want to go back right now! :)  Thanks for such a great weekend guys,  we have to do it again soon!!
