Family Photo Session: Adorable

This family was  a lot of fun and great troopers for withstanding the cold weather once again.  Their adorable little daughter had on the cutest hat,  I was just crazy over it!  Thanks for a great time guys,  here are just a few from the session.......

Family Photo Session: Chilly Willy

I did a photo session the other day with this wonderful family visiting from Florida.  It seemed as though the temperature dropped 15 degrees just for our session.  They were great little troopers though and we still managed to have a good time despite our frostbite!  :)

Family Photo Session: Best of Friends

I photographed such a gorgeous family the other day.  They have a set of twins and new little 7 week old that are all pretty close in age.  The twins are great friends and are SO sweet with their little baby brother.  You can just tell they are all going to be the best of friends,  and how lucky they are to have each other! :)  I had a great time guys,  here are just a few to tide you over.......

American Girl Boutique and Bistro: Birthday Party

I wanted to share this idea with everyone since a lot of my clients have daughters who would LOVE this place!!  My sister and her family were down from Nashville a few weeks ago and while they were here we celebrated my niece's birthday.    There is a relatively new store up at North Point Mall called the American Girl Boutique and Bistro.  You can make reservations for a birthday party at the bistro.  The kids can bring their dolls and they have these really cute little chairs just for the dolls to sit at the table with you,  it is really adorable.  My niece LOVED it and the food was really good, I was quite impressed!  They even give the birthday girls a little present to take home!  If you are looking for something different I would definitely recommend trying this place out.  Here is a picture of us girls before our lunch (I swiped this off my sister's mommy blog -  she is hilarious you should check it out) ......

Family Photo Session: The last shoot

I LOVE taking pictures of this beautiful family!!  They always look so cute and like they belong in a Ralph Lauren advertisement or something.  I'm so sad though because they are moving away and I won't get to watch their little one grow up anymore!! This was our last session together before they left town. :( Sniff, sniff!!    Send pictures guys you will be missed greatly!!  Good luck on your new adventures!

Birthday Bash!!!

There was a definite cause for celebration this weekend for this wonderful family.....  their grandmother hit the 90 years young mark!  The whole family got together to honor this beautiful woman and a great time was had by all!!  I pulled just a few of my favorites to share.  Thanks so much for letting me share this special, special day with you guys,  I had a ball!!!

I just wanted to thank my wonderful clients from this past weekend for being so understanding and gracious.  My husband was in an accident at work on Friday and I had to cancel their sessions from this past weekend.  He is doing much better now and on the road to recovery thank goodness!!  I can honestly say I've never been so scared in my life!! He made me take a picture of his face all banged up, but quite frankly I prefer to not remember him this way, so I won't be posting it.  Even though his attempt at trying to make me laugh by making a Billy Idol face was quite cute.  I'm just still too emotional about it.  SOOOOO, HUG  your loved ones people,  often, hug them and tell them you love them whenever you can as much as you can !!!  Anyway,  thanks again to my clients for being so understanding, I can't thank you enough!!!  And thank you to everyone for their prayers, good vibes and good thoughts, they are surely helping in his recovery!! 

Six months to the day

Here are some shots from Monday's shoot. This little one had just reached her six month mark. My goodness, I had a hard time choosing a few favorites of this little sweet pea, she was an absolute doll!! It was fun guys!!!

Spring?!

I shot pictures of this beautiful family on Sunday morning and boy was it chilly!! The skies were threatening rain but we decided to go for it anyway. So much for springtime!! They really wanted to get some shots of their kids together so that is where our focus was but we made sure to get mom and dad in there too sometimes! It was fun getting to know this very cool family, here are a few of my favorites from the shoot!!

duck, duck.... GOOSE!!!!

My sister was in town the other day with her family. It was gorgeous out so we decided to get some photos of her and her munchkins together. She is a photographer as well, so she rarely makes an appearance in any of her family photos. During our journey we managed to somehow make an entire flock of geese mad and one in particular came flying right up to us hissing away wildly. I think we may have unknowingly been near their nest. It was crazy and gave the kids quite a scare. I also walked away with a couple of ant bites from taking pictures on my belly. blah! Who knew taking pictures could be so dangerous. :) My favorite part though was when my niece tried her hand at photography. I've included some pics of the main mean goose and Hallie strutting her stuff behind the camera. It was quite a fun filled afternoon!!

Best Hair EVER!!

This little 10 month old is gonna be a heartbreaker.  He's blessed with some great genes from his parents who decided to let his hair "fall" before they would cut it.  They were stoked to get some pictures while it was still upright! Hee hee!  I love it and he is such a doll.  We had a great time frolicking around their neighborhood and even trucked it over to a nearby park for some more outdoor fun shots.  It was a beautiful day with a beautiful family!
